Fire destroys Monmouth home | News
Fire that started in a bathroom quickly spread, destroying a home in Monmouth, Illinois.
The fire was reported at a home in the 200 block of West Franklin Avenue just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
The Monmouth Review Atlas reports at least one person lived at the home but no one was home at the time of the fire. Tankers and firefighters from Galesburg and from various Warren County locations helped fight the fire.
No injuries were reported.
