Baking for a good cause | Community Spirit

MONMOUTH, Ill.--Wiar Rescue, the animal rescue for Monmouth,IL and nearby small towns, is having a bake sale Friday and Saturday, February 8th and 9th, at Dollar General on South Main Street.

Donations of small portions or single serving baked good items (cookies, bars, etc.), are needed to help make this a success. Any donated baked goods can be dropped off after 8 a.m. both days.

All proceeds go toward helping the homeless animals of the area. Bake sale starts at 9am.
